Daily Bible Verse

Those who believe in him are not condemned; but those who do not believe are condemned already, because they have not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
John 3:18

Where and when we meet

Here at Twickenham URC we meet for regular worship every Sunday morning. Community activities take place throughout the week.

Anyone, regardless of background, is welcome to join us at any of our services or activities. Please look around this website to see what we have to offer, and if you would like to know more then please come along on Sunday morning or refer to the Contact Us page.

The church is on First Cross Road alongside Twickenham Green. See the Our Location page for more information and travel directions.

What to expect

Sunday morning worship starts at 10:30 am and normally lasts for about an hour. This is then followed by refreshments. We celebrate Holy Communion once a month, usually on the second Sunday.

Our worship follows a variety of styles but normally includes hymns, accompanied by our organist and musicians, and Bible readings. The services are led by our minister (once or twice per month), and also by members of our own church and visiting preachers. See the Sunday Worship page for more information.

About Us

We are a friendly, thoughtful and caring church with about 30 members and friends. We study the Bible, share experiences, and support each other by praying and worshipping together, to learn more about Jesus Christ and where he leads us. We are a part of the national United Reformed Church, although our members and worshippers may come from widely different Christian traditions.

We are engaged in the local community, with weekly activities and groups sponsored by the church and by organisations using the premises. We also give our support to a number of national organisations including Christian Aid and the Leprosy Mission.

Rooms at the church are available for hire, either for single events or regular weekly ones. See the Hire our premises page for more information.

Shepherd's Star activity

Community Activities

We are pleased to host Shepherd’s Star on Fridays. They provide services and a meeting place for people who have experienced life challenges but would like to move forward, learn new skills, grow in confidence, and improve their wellbeing, so that they are able to reconnect with community and actively contribute to society.

Their Good Fridays event takes place every Friday lunchtime (except in the summer and Christmas holidays).  There is a nourishing cooked lunch along with opportunities to meet for for crafts, board games, or just companionship.

At the same time at the All-in-One Hub in the church, representatives from support organisations are available for individual interviews and confidential advice.

See the Shepherd’s Star website for more about their activities in the local area, or our Community Activities page for information on other activities and groups at the church.
