About Our Church

Outside our building

Are you looking for a church in Twickenham?
We invite you to...

Join us as we worship God together
and find his purpose for our lives

Visitors are always welcome.

We are a thoughtful church of about 40 members. We study the Bible, share experiences, and pray together to learn more about Jesus Christ and where he leads us.

We meet for worship at 10.30am and 6pm each Sunday. Our services generally last about an hour. Refreshments are served after the morning service, a good chance to meet and chat.

We normally celebrate Holy Communion during our services on the first Sunday evening and third Sunday morning of each month.

Regular midweek church groups currently include:

  • Wednesday Conversation and Discussion from 11am to 1pm (bring your own lunch)
  • Discovery Group meeting monthly on Thursday mornings from 10am to 12noon
  • Tea and Chat meeting monthly on Thursday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm
A variety of community groups meet at the churchl; please see the Youth Organisations and Church Users pages.

If you would like to hold a baptism, wedding, funeral or celebration service at the church, then please see this page for further information.

We are situated by Twickenham Green at the southern end of First Cross Road, opposite the cricket pavilion. Look for our building as in the picture above, or see this page for a map and travel information.

There has been a church on our site since 1835. Until 1972, when most Congregational and Presbyterian churches in England and Wales united to form the United Reformed Church, we were known as Twickenham Congregational Church.

We are part of the Southern Synod of the national URC. For a formal statement of faith, and other policy documents, please refer to the URC Manual.
